Learn to use ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot safely in tax and financial practice: for tax research, advice, memos and client communication. Hands-on, in-house or online, no technical background needed. This is our Advanced training, tailored to tax advisers and accountants.
A tax adviser has a ten-page advice memo and a client who wants an answer today. Where does AI help here, and where are you taking a risk? You find out during the training, using real cases from your own practice. We offer the same format tailored to notaries and lawyers.
Your trainers: Vikaash Koeldiep MSc, Tim Goudriaan and Diederik Stolk MA.
AI in tax and financial practice
You learn not only what ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot can do, but above all how to use them safely in your daily work. Don’t expect a theoretical lecture. This is a practical session where you do the work yourself.
By default we work with ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. On request we also look at other models, such as Claude, Gemini, Mistral or Perplexity. That way the training fits the systems your firm uses.
Working safely and the duty of confidentiality
In tax and financial services, care counts twice. You learn which client data you can and cannot enter, and how to work without confidential data leaking out. AI sometimes sounds convincing and is still wrong: think of invented case law or outdated rules. You learn to always trace output back to a reliable source. And because language models are strong with text but not with exact figures, you see where AI helps and where you keep doing the work yourself.
The EU AI Act requires organisations across the EU to take measures to build their staff’s AI literacy. Our training is designed as exactly such a measure. For broader compliance, our EU AI Act compliance consulting can help. For work in Excel, there is our training Microsoft Copilot in Excel for finance professionals.
Part of the learning path
All our programmes can be taken on their own or as a learning path. This advanced training builds on the foundation of AI literacy. Want to embed AI structurally in your firm? Then our AI Way of Working is the natural next step. Introducing AI more broadly than training alone? See our AI consulting for organisations.
Training credits
The training may qualify for CPD or professional education points. We are not accredited and do not award points ourselves. Get in touch and we will help you look into registration and possible funding.

Frequently asked questions
Can AI do tax calculations?
To a limited extent. Language models are strong with text and language, not with exact calculations. In the training you learn where AI is and is not reliable for tax work.
Can a tax adviser use AI with client data?
Only with care. Never enter confidential client data into a public AI tool. In the training you learn to work safely.
Does AI use in tax practice comply with the EU AI Act?
Since 2025 the AI Act has set requirements for AI literacy. Our training helps you meet them. For broader compliance, there is our EU AI Act compliance consulting.
How many participants can take part?
A group usually has 6 to 30 participants. With more than 15 participants we bring two trainers, so everyone gets enough personal attention.
Do I need any prior knowledge?
No. The training requires no technical background. We do ask you to create a ChatGPT account before or during the training.
