ChatGPT and Copilot in notarial practice
You work with real cases from your own practice. That way you learn not only what ChatGPT and Copilot can do, but above all how to use them safely and sensibly in your daily work. AI takes over routine work, so you keep more time for the work that really matters.
By default we work with ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. On request we also look at other models, such as Claude, Gemini, Mistral or Perplexity, so the training fits the systems your office uses. Don’t expect a theoretical lecture. This is a practical session where you do the work yourself.
What if ChatGPT invents a statutory provision?
AI always sounds convincing, even when it is wrong. ChatGPT can cite an article of law that does not exist. Or invent a clause for a model deed that looks polished but is legally wrong. You learn to recognise such output and trace it back to a reliable source: the statute, the deed itself or a verified model.
For notaries, care counts twice. So you also practise deciding which information does and does not belong in an AI tool, so you stay within professional secrecy. The training is for notaries, junior (candidate) notaries and notarial staff. No technical background or AI experience is required. We do ask you to create a ChatGPT account before or during the training. The training may count towards professional education points. We are not accredited and do not award points ourselves; get in touch and we will help you look into registration.

There is no single best tool. ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot cover most of the work, but the right choice depends on your systems and professional secrecy. In the training we compare the options for your situation.
Can a notary use AI given professional secrecy?
Yes, with care. It comes down to which information you enter and in which environment. We teach you to work safely, without confidential information leaking out.
Does AI use by notaries comply with the EU AI Act?

How many participants can take part?
A group usually has 6 to 30 participants. With more than 15 participants we bring two trainers, so everyone gets enough personal attention.
