Privacy statement

Last updated on

This is an English translation of our Dutch privacy statement. In the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Dutch version prevails.

AI-Advies & Training (hereinafter: AI-AT) respects your privacy and handles your personal data with care and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains how we handle your data.

1. Who we are

AI-Advies & Training is located at Dorpsstraat 25, 2935 AB Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 92529534. VAT number: NL866088441B01. You can reach us at info@adviesentraining.ai.

2. Which data we process

We process personal data that you provide to us yourself, such as:

  • Contact details (name, email address, phone number, organisation)
  • The content of the message you send through the contact form
  • Data you provide in connection with a quote, training or consulting engagement
  • Technical data such as IP address and browser information when you visit this website

3. Why we process your data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To contact you in response to your question or request
  • To deliver our services (training, consulting, keynotes) to you and to invoice them
  • To comply with our legal obligations (such as the statutory obligation to retain tax records)
  • To improve and secure our website

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Your consent, for example when you send us a message
  • Performance of a contract when you become a client
  • A legal obligation, such as the statutory obligation to retain tax records
  • Our legitimate interest in a properly functioning and secure website

5. How long we keep your data

We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We keep contact form messages for a maximum of two years after the last contact. For administrative records, we apply the statutory retention period of seven years.

6. Sharing with third parties

We only share your data with third parties if this is necessary to deliver our services or to comply with a legal obligation. With processors (such as our hosting partner and email provider), we conclude data processing agreements to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality.

7. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous visitor statistics. Vercel Analytics does not place cookies and does not collect personal data that identifies you.

In addition, only if you give your consent through the cookie banner, we use the following analytics services:

  • Google Analytics 4: to measure how visitors use the website and which pages lead to an enquiry. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google Analytics is only loaded after you give your consent; without consent, nothing is sent to Google.
  • Microsoft Clarity: to see, through heatmaps and anonymised session recordings, where visitors click, scroll or get stuck. Text you enter in forms is not recorded. Clarity is only loaded after you give your consent. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

Your choice is remembered for 12 months. You can change it or withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page).

To protect our forms against spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. This is a functional service that does not require consent. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.

You schedule an introductory call through Microsoft Bookings. The calendar only opens in a window on this website when you click a scheduling button. Microsoft processes the data you enter there on our behalf to record the appointment. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. The website is fully secured with HTTPS and is hosted on European infrastructure.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access to your personal data
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data (the “right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability: a copy of your data in a commonly used format
  • Objection to processing
  • Withdrawal of consent you have given

You can exercise these rights by sending an email to info@adviesentraining.ai. We respond within four weeks.

10. Complaints

Do you have a complaint about how we process personal data? Please contact us first. If we cannot resolve it together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, AP) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

11. Changes

We may amend this privacy statement from time to time. The most recent version is always available on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
