Learn to use ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot safely in HR: for recruitment, performance reviews, HR policy and employee communication. Hands-on, in-house or online, no technical background needed. This is our Advanced training, tailored to HR and people management.

How the HR training works in practice

You work on real tasks from your own HR practice. Take an open vacancy. Together with the tool you write a job ad, a recruitment email and a set of interview questions, and you learn to check the output critically.

That way you see not only what ChatGPT and Copilot can do, but above all how to use them safely in your own work. It is a hands-on session, not a theoretical lecture. No technical background is needed.

By default we work with ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. If you already work in Microsoft 365, Copilot is the obvious choice. On request we also look at Claude, Gemini or Perplexity, so the training fits the systems you already use.

Your trainers: Tim Goudriaan and Diederik Stolk.

HR works with personal data

HR handles personal data every day. That calls for care. You learn which information you can and cannot enter in an AI tool, and how to work without data leaking out.

In recruitment you also watch for bias. An AI tool that pre-sorts CVs can pick up gender bias from old data and put female candidates at a disadvantage. You learn to spot that bias and keep the decision with a human.

Under the EU AI Act, AI that selects or assesses candidates counts as high risk. Since 2025, extra requirements for human oversight and AI literacy have applied across the EU. Want to arrange this across your organisation? Our EU AI Act compliance consulting and broader AI consulting for organisations can help.

Part of the learning path

All our programmes can be taken on their own or as a learning path. This advanced training builds on AI literacy; if you want to lay the foundation first, start there. Want to embed AI structurally in your HR team? Then AI Way of Working is the natural next step.

Good to know

The training is for HR professionals, recruiters and people managers, from starters to experienced HR experts, in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. No technical background is required; we do ask you to create a ChatGPT account before or during the training. Our AI training may qualify for CPD or professional development points; get in touch and we will help you look into it.

Frequently asked questions

Can HR use AI with personal data?

Yes, with care. It comes down to which data you enter and in which environment. In the training you learn to work safely, so personal data does not leak out.

Which AI tool is best for HR?

For most HR teams, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot cover the work. If you already work in Microsoft 365, Copilot is the obvious choice. We help you make the right call.

What does the EU AI Act mean for AI in recruitment?

AI systems that select or assess candidates count as high risk. Extra requirements apply for human oversight and AI literacy. Our training helps you meet them; for full compliance, there is our EU AI Act compliance consulting.

How many participants can take part?

A group usually has 6 to 30 participants. With more than 15 participants we bring two trainers, so everyone gets enough personal attention.

Do I need any prior knowledge?

No. The training requires no technical background. We do ask you to create a ChatGPT account before or during the training.
